We first started treating the delightful Angie Kent 12 months ago in our beautiful cosmetic medicine clinic in Brisbane. At that time, Angie was entertaining us weekly on Gogglebox Australia. She quickly became a much-loved addition to our evening viewing, as she entertained us with her natural wit, kindness and incredibly warm personality. Following this, she made it to the final five of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, and just last week, Angie was announced as Australia’s next Bachelorette.
Angie is the celebrity that we could all imagine being best friends with in real life. Sharing a shopping trip, a night out, a yoga class with her. Angie seems to us the perfect companion in every sense. In person, she is even more genuine and gorgeous than the camera portrays. A natural beauty some may say and I am not talking purely about her physical appearance, but more so, her character.
A beautiful person inside and out. Angie is effortlessly beautiful. She is comfortable to be kind, because she is comfortable in her own skin and isn’t threatened by others. She doesn’t need to prove herself to anyone and this, is what we all must learn from Angie Kent. The importance of tapping into the unique genuineness and warmth that is only ours, and letting it be the representation of our natural beauty.
The secret to having this humbling attractiveness is self-love. Angie is a huge advocate of self-love and confident to share the impact self-love has had on her life, recently admitting that now that her self-love tank is full, she can focus on sharing her life with another. Angie knows that without learning unconditional kindness to ourselves, we cannot genuinely express kindness to others.
The camera does not lie. The camera cannot lie. This is why when we watch someone on TV who isn’t genuine, we do not believe them and we can take a real disliking to them. That is why when we watch Angie Kent on TV, we love her. She has warmth and genuineness in spades and is comfortable to express herself in a classy and dignified way, a refreshing change from a lot of reality stars on our screens now.
We cannot wait to see sassy Angie melt more hearts on The Bachelorette airing soon and we wish her the absolute best wishes.
