The next generation skin rejuvenation treatment changing the game

Getting the best of both worlds in skin rejuvenation is like having your cake and eating it too – delicious and no calories to boot, or in the rejuvenation world – results with no pain.

Let me introduce you to Vivace – a treatment I believe to be one of the most exciting advances in skin rejuvenation today.

Vivace combines two existing methods of facial rejuvenation with the resulting benefit surpassing what both treatments offer alone, virtually no pain or downtime.  It is safe and effective for all skin types, can be done anytime of the year and is FDA cleared and TGA listed.

Existing skin rejuvenation methods can have the problem of being painful and sometimes leaving needle marks that require healing time. The Vivace treatment has overcome this problem by combining microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy, leaving virtually no bleeding or bruising behind. These combined methods create both epidermal resurfacing and deeper dermal remodeling. Vivace stimulates the natural production of collagen and elastin so leaves skin feeling firmer, tighter and smoother, all while being minimally invasive.

Using a robotic gliding technique that controls the entry points, the smooth gliding of the needles is gentle and less traumatic while working on collagen stimulation. Radiofrequency allows for even distribution during the process of penetration, so that the small capillaries are sealed, and no bleeding is seen, even with deep penetration which can reach up to 3.5 mm.

The procedure is effective in decreasing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while tightening and toning the face and neck. At the same time, it also addresses issues such as large pores, uneven skin tone and acne scars. Results are superior, quick and natural looking, with little to no evidence of the procedure on the face.

Let’s dive into the nuts and bolts further:

How does it work?

Vivace is a hand-held device that delivers radiofrequency energy as heat to the lower dermis layer of skin, via tiny needles. Very accurate micro-damage is produced by the needles and heat so that the body’s own cell regeneration process is activated. The treatment is combined with a numbing serum cream and cooling mask to ensure superior results.

Who can use this treatment?

Anyone wanting to improve their overall skin appearance is a good candidate for Vivace.  From wanting to boost skin firmness, improve skin surface and wrinkles, brighten dull skin or help with acne scarring.

What does it feel like?

Many of my patients comment the procedure feels like little more than light pressure to the face, with an occasional, sparking feeling. It is comfortable and virtually pain-free, with the machine being designed specifically for patient tolerance.

Can I wear make up afterwards?

If my patients desire to wear makeup, it is recommended to wait at least six hours or until the next morning after your procedure.

When will I see results?

Results can be immediate and also improve over time, usually seen after 6 months.

How many sessions will I require to achieve optimum results?

The recommended number of sessions is three, however, a full consultation with your cosmetic surgeon to assess your skin condition will determine what is best for you.

I’m sure you’ll agree that Vivace is the front-runner in skin rejuvenation, not only because the combination of microneedling with radiofrequency is effective, but also because of the superior patient experience.  To be able to achieve these types of results without a painful procedure with little to no down-time, is truly exciting and ground-breaking for the industry and for patients.
