Anita is a writer, and sought-after speaker at conferences and events for cosmetic medicine professionals and the general public.
She is Brisbane’s first Cosmetic Nurse Practitioner, having performed in excess of 15,000 non-surgical cosmetic facial enhancements for loyal clients throughout Australia. Anita has over twenty years’ experience as a Registered Nurse and holds a Master’s degree in Nursing Practice (Nurse Practitioner). This qualification sees Anita with prescribing rights for medicines in her speciality field of practice, cosmetic medicine.
To ensure the provision of non-surgical cosmetic medicine is the perfect fit for her patients, Anita operates both autonomously and collaboratively with a select group of advanced health professionals.
Anita also holds a Master of Arts degree from the prestigious University of London. During this study, she majored in the medical research component dedicated to our human ability to ‘think ourselves into a way of feeling’. Anita utilises this research to inform her holistic approach, which is tailored to the individual.
In the United Kingdom and Australia, Anita has worked as a professional actor, TV presenter and singer. Having rubbed shoulders with many of the entertainment industry’s elite, Anita found there was a strong need for creating natural and subtle cosmetic enhancement. In response, she set out to bring this unique blend of natural looking non-surgical enhancement to everyone, hence Anita East Medispa was born.
